water 2 tweet

All of us must have seen small bowls of water lying outside some homes and knew it was for birds, only if they didn’t have a dog, a pet to be precise, guarding this life saver fluid from dehydrated birds ;)

Honestly, I never realized, (ok I am not a duffer, So) maybe I never thought it this way, that during summer, when the sun shines ruthlessly, even birds need extra water to beat the heat and cool their teeny-weeny bodies, until I saw this:

So this summer, only if n when we have it here, I am gonna have a bowl filled with this precious liquid just for the birds :)

sweet special someone !

Is age what defines who your friend can be?
I say no, as my little friend is just turning three.

Big eyes and curly hair, as pretty as a little bear.
She is sweet, she is cute and at time can be a citrus fruit.
“All done” is her favorite word, which she chirps like a baby bird.
It’s RIGHT when she likes it and WRONG in another split.
‘It’s your turn’ and’ it’s my turn’, follow this order else you will be shunned.
Nick jr is all she requests, smiling like a spring cress.

Innocence & intelligence, describe her best, full of flavor like a lemon zest.

I Care

"I care not what others think of what I do, but I care very much about what I think of what I do! That is character." – Theodore Roosevelt

If you believe that what you are doing is wide of the mark then don’t do it for the reason that everyone else thinks this is how it should be. At the end of the day, when everybody will be over and done, you have to live with it

Holi in Seattle, WA

Holi is a festival of colors celebrated in India. This day is all about colors, colors, colors and more colors. You throw/apply/toss colors/water on anyone you feel like and have fun. People in India go crazy on this day.

Personally, I am not a big fan of holi and here is US, you don’t even feel celebratory during traditional festivals. But this year, a friend asked us if we would join them at Maple Valley temple to attend the celebration, well to be precise to eat charts ie, spicy, tangy, awesome Indian snacks.

To be honest, I didn’t had much hopes, but anyway we went & it turned out to be such a delight. It felt as if I was in India, loud music, people dancing like crazy, DJ speaking in Hindi..wow!! I had never-ever thought that I will enjoy seeing people soaked in colors. But I guess you start appreciating stuff when you don’t have it.
